Jam prepared a Sustainability Statement in support of the outline planning application for the regeneration
and re-purposing of the former Laporte Works at Nutfield Green Park, Surrey, submitted to Tandridge
District Council.

Nutfield Green Park proposes an ambitious low carbon development featuring an outdoor activity park with
a wellbeing centre.
The proposals also include four areas of residential development, built to Future Home Standards, a respite and rehabilitation facility and extra care apartments. The Applicant’s vision is to create a place which will thrive for present and future generations and respond to the climate emergency.

The proposals are for an exciting multi-faceted development scheme that will create a synergy between the newly built development and the natural environment in which it is set.  A place which will make a positive contribution to the local community, set a high standard of sustainability and deliver a beautiful place to live, work and visit.

The Proposed Development includes:

  • A development of 239 new homes

  • A rehabilitation & respite care facility

  • 21 staff accommodation units

  • 100 extra care apartments

  • An outdoor activity park

  • A wellbeing centre.
