Jam is 20

Jam is 20

I would like to thank all the clients, consultants, friends and family who have supported Jam over the last 20 years.  The need to bring sustainability and planning together remains as relevant as it did twenty years ago although, in my opinion, it is now more urgent than ever.

Whilst progress has undoubtedly been made with respect to engineering and technology, the emphasis given to social and environmental issues is still floundering and needs to be moved further up the agenda.  Coupled with the increasing disconnect between the need to address climate change alongside economic growth, and constant misinformation on 'Net Zero' policies, the challenge to achieve sustainable development is even greater.  These issues should not be in conflict with each other but should align, to achieve truly sustainable growth.  Economic growth which fails to consider the impacts of climate change cannot be sustained over the long term.

I look forward to continuing to challenge the norms in the search for better, more equitable solutions, which respect our beautiful planet and enable more meaningful prosperity in both interesting and enduring ways.
